Stupid Apple Tricks

Ok, this is stupid.

I don't often rip on Apple, but this was a boneheaded move, and credit where credit is due. I just downloaded iTunes 7.0.2 and installed it. I went into the iTunes Store (which I actually *use* now) and discovered that it thought I was living in Japan! What the hell? From what I've been reading, this 'international confusion' is common with this new version. It's easily fixed though. Just go to the main page of the iTunes Store and down on the very bottom is a combo box to let you pick your country. Oddly enough, it was properly showing the United States even though it thought I was in Japan. Just select the United States on that combo box again and it will fix the problem.

Stupid bug Apple! Get with the program. You are starting to remind me of Microsoft.
