I just discovered a cool little OS X application that others might like. It's called iPodDisk and it lets you essentially mount your iPod as a standard drive in OS X. Why is this a great program? Because it essentially lets you access ALL the music on your iPod without using iTunes. You can only copy FROM your iPod, but it allows you to easily retrieve files off of the iPod (which iTunes doesn't let you do). Try it...
