Optimus Prime's Mouth Shield There's been a lot of controversy about the apparent lack of a face shield over Optimus' mouth. In the original cartoons and comic books, it was always there. Up until now, you've never actually seen his face. Apparently, if you watch the preview closely, you'll see that he normally doesn't have the shield, but when he goes into battle, the shield expands out from the sides as you can see from the sequence of photos below.
Megatron at a military base Apparently the militar capture Megatron. Perhaps this is an injured, deactivated Megatron found early in the movie.
